However, the fanatical Japanese of the 1930's and 1940's are not the Japanese people of today. If ever a country deserved to be bombed into submission, it was them. I understand the hate some surviving veterans of WWII still hold, even though I do not harbor any. Any student of WWII history knows how and why we bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the ultimate result, "Unconditional Surrender". Watching the video of the surrender ceremony aboard the USS Missouri shows how important dropping the bombs were to achieving the surrender and complete submission to the victors.
So, you P.O.S., don't you dare apologize for this American. If it had taken a million more Japanese deaths to accomplish that unconditional surrender, then so be it. It was all their fault, and the blame for what happened rests solely on the shoulders of the former Empire of Japan, not on The United States.
Counting the minutes until January 20, 2017.
